Encompass Lighthouse symbolizes a beacon of hope and support during challenging times.
The year-round program serves students ages 10-18, needing daytime programming and academic support, and are referred by Monroe County Department of Health & Human Services.
Lighthouse delivers an academically-focused setting where all students feel safe and inspired to reach their social, emotional, and academic potential. Staff prioritizes building positive relationships with students to support their needs. The program offers enriching and relevant skill-building workshops focused on independent living.
EnCompass: Resources for Learning began providing services to children in foster care through Monroe County Community Optional Preventive Services (COPS) in 2006. EnCompass developed "3D" to serve child welfare and foster care youth during the summer and continues to meet the unique academic needs of foster care youth year-round.
