Getting kids classroom-ready:
Incredible community support for our Back2School Blitz has placed pencils, backpacks, school uniforms, alarm clocks, laundry detergent, and toiletries into the hands of hundreds of students. Our whole-child EnCompass Navigation model "brews" connection and school success. Right now, everyone can support students and our important work by sipping NAVIGATOR, our signature beer at Heroes Brewing Company, a local brewery that chooses quality nonprofits to highlight.

Collaboration closes gaps for students:
EnCompass was awarded a $1.7 Million NYSED Grant for its Afterschool programs at 3 Rochester elementary schools, over the next five years! 225 students (grades K-8) at RCSD schools 33, 39, and 58 will benefit from targeted tutoring, hands-on learning and projects, healthy meals and snacks, afterschool clubs, and safe bus transportation home.
A hallmark of EnCompass Family Navigation is building family-to-family connections through meaningful, year-round activities; this August families bonded through camping, EnCompass workshops, and outdoor fun at JCC's Camp Seneca Lake.

All eyes on us:
Back-to-school at NHS was featured on 13 WHAM! Reporter and NHS alum, Sam Carter, interviewed Director of Education, Rosemary Hodges, and highlighted our outdoor learning spaces and how they make in-person learning safe and more engaging!
For the first time, an NHS alumni won the Golf Tournament! He and 104 golfers, 60 sponsors and donors, and many volunteers made the 11th annual event a major success, raising $13,650 for our hands-on learning programs! Thank you the community that supports our students.
