Student-Centered Art Showcase Is A Success!

Last week, EnCompass Future Ready hosted their first-ever Art Showcase. 12 Future Ready students prepared artwork to display at the show, and the event was a total success. A variety of techniques were highlighted by the talented group including pencil drawings, acrylic paintings, and watercolor pieces.

Student Navigator, Tia Tucker, spearheaded the event and worked with Tina Paradise from Imprintable Solutions Ink to produce t-shirts of students’ artwork for purchase. What sweetened the deal? Students were able to make a profit on the t-shirts sold with their artwork on it.

Here is what Tia had to say about the event:

“I was so proud of the students for being brave enough to put their artwork out there for all to see. It’s wonderful to be able to work with Tina to- not only celebrate their hard work and talent- but to teach them entrepreneurial skills and to know their worth as artists.”
