RCSD Busing Proposal Withdrawn

Did you read our blog post from last month explaining the proposed elimination of busing for 3,500 Rochester children attending charter, parochial, private or Urban-Suburban institutions outside city lines? If not, check it out here before you keep reading.   

Thanks to the voices of EnCompass families and hundreds of other families that would have been affected by the elimination of transportation, the busing proposal has been withdrawn for now. Families clearly opposed the proposal and made it known to the district, causing Superintendent Myers-Small to call off changes to transportation.
